Work Placement Project – Building Work for Women

Building Work for Women (BWW) works with trainee tradeswomen in London who have completed a level 2 qualification and need to gain the vital work experience needed to find work within the construction industry. The programme is funded by the London Development Agency to March 2009. The programme supports women to find a placement, CV production, interview and application techniques, driving lessons, tools, personal protective equipment and other training such as personal safety, health and safety training and First Aid.
Women can also get support with travel and childcare expenses.
We are currently enroling women for the programme who are not in paid work and have completed a level two trade course.
