Amazonails is a not-for-profit social enterprise, offering design, consultancy, training, and support in Strawbale building and other sustainable building techniques. Their services are available to self-builders, architects, schools, and the construction industry. They also offer illustrated presentations to professionals, academic institutions, and community groups. They have been developing techniques and simplifying practice in strawbale building since 1994, and are acknowledged internationally for their breadth of experience.

At the cutting edge of design, amazonails have pioneered several types of low-impact foundations through the Building Regulation system in the UK, specialising in designs that use no cement, are self-draining and require no intrusive trenches into the earth: making them accessible to all.

They have acted as consultants to clients such as the Ecology Building Society and the National Trust, and offer their own design & drawing service.
