There are various trade and professional organisations that those working within the construction industry can belong to. Some such as Gas Safe Register are essential for those working on Gas installations but others are voluntary. Many people find that these Trade Associations are useful regulatory bodies and that membership shows you or your firm to be competent and reliable.

Unfortunately most of these sites will not allow you to search based on gender.
